Personality is very important for a teacher for him/her to become successful in the teaching profession.
Passion. A successful teacher has full of interest. He or she exerts full effort and diligence in everything most especially in teaching and in doing other related duties.
Patience. A teacher must have a soft heart to be patient in dealing and interacting with the learners and other stakeholders.
Cooperation. A sense of cooperation with the learners, peers and other personnel in the organization would be too inviting.
Authoritativeness. Be a figure of good authority in the class and in the entire school as well. It should be a teacher deserving of much respect or reverence.
Creativity. A teacher who is creative emanates a good personality appeal. If a teacher exhibits talents and skills in making things interesting and stimulating then his/her creativity will stand out.
Respect. It is a reality that respect begets respect. It is a human requirement that we have to show kindness to all. A teacher who exemplifies high respect will in return be yielding a mirror of reverence.
Harmony. A friendly teacher is loved by everyone. As a teacher, you should be the initiator of goodwill.
Parental Care. Teachers are the second parents and pupils look up to them. They are being anticipated to guide and direct the learners.
Zest. Teachers should enjoy the profession. It is much rewarding to work if someone does his/her work with a smile and open heart.
Initiative. A teacher does things for the sake of others though he/she is not being forced to do so. He/she is not a person who just waits for a command but a teacher who makes necessary steps in doing things for others due to the call of the job and as the need arises.
A teacher who possesses these traits will mold a pleasing personality and that will create a successful teacher.
