Parent involvement to education relates positively to pupil’s achievement. Parents are encouraged to participate in their children’s education in a variety of ways both at home and in school. At home, they are asked to read with their child, provide quite place homework, supervise assignment, monitor television and internet use, and promote school attendance. School request that parents attend conference, “open houses” as well as academic, art, drama, and athletic events. Parents are invited to volunteer in classrooms, serve advisory committees, and support fund for special project.

Parents most enjoy participating in classroom activities, parents meetings, and policy planning sessions. They are most interested in meetings dealing with educational concerns or personal growth and development. Somewhat surprisingly, social and fundraising activities were listed by parents us the least popular form of parent involvement in many schools. Parents should be very supportive in any projects in terms of meetings, planning, monitoring and other projects. In general, involvement of parents in school made them understand the child development and educational process. Another effect of parent-school cooperation is that parents became better teachers of their children at home and use more positive forms of reinforcement.
