Getting a child to enjoy books at an early age is a very challenging job to parents and teachers. They should introduce books to children so that they will develop the habit of reading.

The importance of reading should be emphasized to children at their early age. They should be encouraged to read as early as one year old. But the most appropriate time is when they are four years old, when they start communicating with people.

Supplying the child with books intended for his age is important so that reading becomes an effective way. Choose books that deal with the subject that catch the child’s interest.

Parents and teachers should be seen reading. It should be more than a subject but a way of life. How can they be effective when they themselves do not read? They should always find time to read. Parents have the bigger responsibility since learning starts at home. Teachers, on the other hand, should strengthen the skill.
