Quality education comes from quality school. So, it is just right that we have to familiarize ourselves with the components of a quality school in order to educate and mold the current society. The school must promote the following in order to realize its real quality.
Relevance. A quality school teaches what is relevant. A quality school must educate our youth of what is essential and important on the present time. The schools should edify the learners of what should be applicable for the current trends.
Creativity. Teaching the youth to be creative is another salient feature of a quality school. The school must train the students to be creative in various means and undertakings. Moreover, exposing the learners to different challenging activities can be much endearing.
Individualization. Students tend to ask what should they learn and why should I learn. Allowing them to learn unique ideas and demonstrate them in their own ways is the proof of having individualization. Quality schools let the persons foster their interests and be the kind of individuals they want to be.
Comprehensiveness. A school is obliged to impart the totality of learning. It should share what is adequate to its educational clientele. The learners deserve to have the completeness of knowledge and skills that they need to acquire.
Consistency. A school must be consistent in everything it does and implements for the advantage of the teaching-learning process. At the same it must teach its learners to be consistent in their good academic performances.
Advancement. Schools should not be left behind. It should continue to upgrade its system whether in strategies or in technology. Being adept with what is latest can be instrumental in delivering high quality instructions. Also, advanced schools can also make our students be ahead from the others.
Transformation. A school must always be an agent of change. A change can be done within the school itself and a change can acquired by the people within. It means that if the school changes for the better, the people within the school also change for a good purpose.
Relevance, creativity, individualization, comprehensiveness, consistency, advancement and transformation are very significant in achieving a quality school. Consequently, once a quality school is realized, the product will also be of good quality.
