The Brigada Eskwela, which is an annual event being implemented by the Department of Education is truly a worthwhile undertaking that promotes safety in our schools for the sake of the learners.
Through this heroic activity, the administration, the teaching force, the educational clientele and different stakeholders are joined together in order to prepare the school facilities for the coming school year, making them safe, attractive and conducive.
Various areas of the school campus are repaired in order to avoid hazards or any untoward incidents that may possibly occur.
The classrooms are being renovated and any damaged parts may be fixed for them to be safe and secured. The desks, chairs and tables and other classroom facilities are being set well for the sake of the learners.
Moreover, the teachers are being helped by volunteers to repaint the room, making it more attractive and inviting to the child, making it an excellent venue for education.
The school environment like the school grounds, the backyard, the corridors and among others are being made safe for the convenience of the learners.
Even the school fences, the gates and other pathways are made strong and stable for the learners safety and security.
Making the school a child-friendly one is the primary advocacy of Brigada Eskwela, creating a better learning place for the pupils/students to stay during the teaching-learning process.
The collaboration of strengths, the camaraderie of the people that work, the spirit of Bayanihan exist during the Brigada Eskwela. These are being realized in order to promote safety in schools and among the learners.
Brigada Eskwela is considered admirable and fulfilling since it shows the generosity of helping others in order to build a better place and a better school community.
Promoting safety in schools is an outstanding move of the Department of Education, creating a better place for the learners for them to fully enjoy education to the fullest.
Let it continue for it is being done for a great and heroic cause.
