Every child in school has a set of rights that he/she deserves to have. It is the full responsibility of the school and of course of the teachers to protect and promote these rights for the sake of the learner.

Fourth, it is the right of the child to learn the right values. Having taught the enviable values that he/she needs to apply in life would be advantageous. It is part of his right to know what is good and to avoid the negative one. Teach him/her the traits that will be instrumental in shaping a good character.
Fifth, it is the right of the child to assume responsibility. Let him/her do tasks which will further develop his sense of leadership and on this he/she will be able to prepare himself/herself for future tasks that will strengthen his personality as leader and as an individual.
Sixth, it is the right of the child to be recognized. Appreciate his good deeds and accomplished. Being appreciated by well-trusted authorities like teachers will be beneficial in boosting his/her self esteem. Having awarded with pleasing words would further uplift one’s spirit.
Seventh, it is the right of the child to be protected from any forms of harm. Whether the hazard is coming from internal or external forces, the child must be given proper care that will make him/her secured. Let him/her be free from any form of abuses. The child is our most treasured asset.
Eight, it is the right of the child to have a conducive learning environment. Given a safe and convenient place to study is something that a child would be happy to attain. So, a school must be a venue for a comfortable learning.
By realizing all of these rights, the child or the learner will be protected well. Remember, the school should be child-friendly and a place which protects the rights of every child.
