The Department of Education encourages the pupils to get involved in sports and enhance their capabilities and develop their potentials.  The positive effects of sports to young people have become a source of personal growth some athletes who started in the school-based sports program. 

 

Emerging young athletes should be imbued with the basic knowledge in their quest for success in the field. 

 

            The young athletes should have an improved physical strength. To achieve this, balanced diet should go with regular exercise and good sleeping habit.  A simple morning or afternoon jogging can trigger those sleeping muscles to contract and be developed.  This will physically prepare the athlete in everyone.

 

            Likewise, young athletes should develop their interest.  It  should be noted that one’s interest in a game triggers his attitude toward it.  If you have developed this, play and enjoy it.  In playing it, always have a relaxed mind and do not lose your focus in it.  .

 

Be patient and practice to excel. Always challenge yourself to be better and become the best.  Keep on practicing and discover new strategies on how to improve your capabilities.

 

             Most importantly, remember that there is always something hidden within us that need to be unearthed. Challenged yourself and believe that you can be better than anybody else. Always bear in mind that you are strong, that you can do it, that you can excel.

 

These may be simple tips but these are worth a try. There will always be no ham on trying.
