Many forms of distraction  can disturb a pupil in his studies.Studying is a challenge to them. He can study in different places like his own home, a friend’s home, , and other places inside the school like library or in a vacant room or other school facilities wherein noise is not really a problem.

Check where you can concentrate studying your lessons.

  • The library usually tops among the  list of best places to study.   In normal circumstances, it is prohibited to make noise inside the library, so you can devote your whole concentration in studying your lessons there. The best time to go there  is during your free time like lunch break or before  going home in the afternoon.
  • Another comfortable place to study in would be your room. Many pupils  study on their bed and may end up falling asleep, so be careful.  There must  a study table inside the room, making use of it is very helpful. Studying before going to bed is one of the best times to study.
  • A  pupil  who likes to study with friends may do so. Invite your friends to have a group study in a place condusive for  interaction or debate when  needed in order to prepare for a project or discussion inside the classroom.  Pupils doing this, must have a strong leader to be followed ,and    make sure that the group discussion is centered on the task or lesson, or else otherwise it may end up as “party” instead of group study.
  • If  your own house  is noisy, studying with your  friend  ,  who has parents who are concern with their child’s studies  is a good choice.
  • Parks with trees, flowers, grass or benches to sit on are also great places to study . Just stay away from places near the picnic area or skating rink where families normally stay especially during the weekend.
