The purpose of education is to direct and guide learning and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes.  Education in the Philippines should aspire to meet worthily its obligations and opportunities.  The real aim of education in a democracy is to foster growth in the direction of freedom, democracy, tolerance and cooperative living and to develop among the students a mutual recognition of the welfare of one another.

            Education in the country must be education for social responsibility and progress.  Develop both the youths and adults to be socially responsible.  The students and parents should be taught to understand democratic social living in sync with the political system.

            It should be an education for freedom and respect for all regardless of creed, color, and preference.  The kind of education designed to train free men, intelligent citizens who are conscious to their responsibilities, their integrity, dignity and rights.  Education must continue to nourish social faith which has been developed through the centuries.  Every teacher must also believe in the dignity and the supreme value of human personality above everything else.  The teacher must believe that his ideal is the highest in order to convey the knowledge students deserve.
