Republic Act No. 7610 is an act that provides a stronger deterrence and special protection against child abuse, exploitation, and discrimination, and for other purposes. This Act is also known as the “Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.”

         According to the study, the most effective way to reach children in informing the importance of Republic Act 7610 is through schoolwide efforts about the declaration of the policy so that they would know that special protection is provided for them from all forms of abuse, neglect, cruelty, exploitation, and discrimination.

        Aside from it, proper information regarding the bad effect of bullying should be given to children. A safe school should be committed to preventing and reducing the incidents of bullying because almost 32 percent of students are reported for being bullied at school. Bullied students are more likely to take a weapon to school, get involved in physical fights, and suffer from anxiety and depression, health problems, and mental health problems.

         Children should be vigilant in observing the happenings of maltreatment. They should have knowledge on the proper reporting of any form of abuse to the authority if this is typically one aspect of crime prevention.

        Consequently, there is already a jurisdiction of adding more police officers to a particular area to aid people and for a public safety. This is because criminals may not feel comfortable in committing crimes if they are afraid, they might get caught. However, children must be sensitive on what kind of condition their neighborhood have because it plays a part in the amount of crime committed on their places. With this, everybody should be vigilant against child abuse especially today that our learners are experiencing difficulties because of the pandemic situation.
