   Response – ability can be thought as “responsibility” and responsibility is a mere realization of any action and even reactions with their results, eventually consequences. Everything that we are doing from all of our choices everyday – ultimately affects how our actions will turn out later. These actions may be beneficial or might as well uninviting to us.

   Make reading a choice together with our day to day doings that became eventually a chore already, then a guaranteed and benefited result may follow.

    Teachers keep telling students that reading must be a part of their school life, even to the point that this is a responsibility that they must have and take in its full consideration, the ability to response in the needs of reading literacy in this highly challenging and competent world. This literacy is a mixture of literary competency and success.

   Availability of reading materials can be reached in and out of the school, binded or search. Reading such materials developed the creativity and imagination of the students. Teacher preaches hardly the students that person who knows how to read and able to digest it offered the best in life. This practice may not only educate them but to bring this primary skill into a more dignified and comfortable in life. Scary thoughts for those having reading deficiency can not read and understand a simple instruction labeled on bottled medicine, but people understand what they read go places..

   Teaching students how to read and understand it in the same way helps a lot particularly the language competence in second language, English. Hence, this may response to the fundamental needs – knowing with comprehension of what they read. The strength of this skill may be in the ability of the teachers that envelope with diligence and passion. Responsibility of the teachers to help students is heard through their words. These words may be scaffold to reach something they truly deserve, bridge them from struggle to victories so to pain with glory. Let these be not impossible and be not deprived by giving them the value and benefits of reading with understanding.

   Sometimes many want speak, but fewer those who wants to read – unable to read but much are able to talk.

   Reading illiteracy can deprive someone to enjoy the benefits of overflowing information and knowledge, interactive and more entertaining issues. Let them take the advantage of all these through reading.

Bitter truth is that many of our high school students are found deficiency reading with comprehension, worst is, there are still students who can not read particularly in the lower year level in school.

Now, who will take the RESPONSIBILITY of giving them the reading literacy?
