Being a teacher is not just about facing the class every day or making examinations or computing grades, it is actually more than that. Teachers have this burning passion inside of them that makes their jobs worthy of being considered the best job. For them it is not just a career, it is more like a mission or a calling that is meant to change the lives of many. Here are some reasons why teachers are the best.
A teacher inspires and molds lives. Teachers are basically our second parents. We are always with them face-to-face or even online. They are the reason why we can stand on our own in the real world. Teachers not only teach knowledge but also real life experience that each student can relate to. Whatever comes out of a teacher’s mouth will surely be implanted in the hearts of its students. Just imagine being able to change and mold the lives of young children who have such beautiful future. It is surely more worthy than any salary.
A teacher creates history. As a teacher you will encounter hundreds of young learners. Each of these learners will have their own unique dreams. You never know, you may have a future engineer, lawyer, accountant or even a future president in your class. And as a teacher, you will be proud that you are a part of their story, a part of the reason why they are standing so proud.
A teacher continuously learns. A teacher does not only teach but also learns. Other professionals out there might not remember every single explanation in Science or even every formula in Math. But a teacher always remembers. Of course they do, because they will always have to teach it. And as they do, this allows them to have greater knowledge and have a unique development. Thus, we can say that being a teacher is also being one of the smartest of all the professions.
A teacher is creative. A teacher may attend the same class for the same period, but that doesn’t mean they do the same job every time. A teacher is a creative master. They have to be innovative as they will teach different students with different personalities. They will always have to think of other ways to effectively teach their students. They do fun activities, powerpoints, show movies, create songs and many more. Let just admit that being a teacher is one of the most creative jobs.
These are just some of the reasons why you should be a teacher. Every job out there may give you large amount of salary but being a teacher will give you more than that. It will surely give you that wonderful experience that you will cherish forever.
