Another year had gone by, as the thought in my head that a good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination and instill a love of learning still linger. I come to this profession later in my life, I did not expect that I would be a teacher. This is a second career for me next to parenthood, I admit that at first I thought that teaching is just a small undertaking, I was wrong. Teaching is very essential profession, next to parents teachers are the most important element in our society. I met a lot of extraordinary in this field, their caring professionalism and open heartedness inspired and help me a lot. I would always remember out good and supportive English Department Head, Mrs. Virginia D. Enriquez once told us that love and respect to our profession, colleagues and students are strongest force that will make us an effective teacher.
Teaching is challenging yet rewarding career choices, as I became a teacher I have learned to adapt to my students needs and collaborate to other teachers, it helps me to acquire relevant knowledge and skill by performing in actual work setting.
I have realized that the school is an important tool in environmental education. Teachers should educate and prepare the students for their role in the society. It strengthen my belief that a good education is truly indeed the most important part of a nation
I had felt this feeling of being proud as a teacher because people regards me in a special way, I feel I am fulfilled, I have learned to cope with difficulties in terms of handling student teacher.
I like being a teacher because it makes me happy especially seeing students learned from me, I have learned to appreciate every bit of knowledge and opportunity that comes to my way, for I know that this will lead me to become a better teacher.
I felt pleasure of imparting knowledge, though there are times that it really gives me a hard time to acquire my students attention, but as the head of the classroom I always see to it that at the end of the day the great odds of learning process had met. I am proud to be a teacher especially as an English Teacher for it made me a better person, I get to appreciate the beauty of literary works and the remarkable meanings that the poetry reveals.
