Opening of classes is really fast approaching. And one of the teacher’s problem is all about student’s behaviour. Sometimes as an educator, it is very, very a tough job, aside from the different teaching strategies to think of, and the many materials to be prepared.
Student’s acceptance to learning is usually start from their home. How their parents moulded their attitudes really affects a lot. There are some behaviour that need to be address properly, of course, with the help of their parents, and all school personnel. But as a teacher, reinforcement and encouragement produces more positive behaviour.
Some students need to be praise to boost their self-confidence so that they can be able to express themselves to other. They need encouragement to motivate that going to school to learn is not going to jail to be punish. The more encouragement to give, the more acceptance and trust you will receive.
But there are some students that need reinforcement, not to be punish or to impose penalty but to make them learn, to be able them to realize that learning is good, and it’s fun. Reinforcement by positive recognition makes the students initiate and motivate them to learn.
In every classes we handled, for every 40 to 45 students we’ve faced. Always remember and stick to our mind, to give our 101% capacity and capability to be able them to learn. So that once they finish their studies and find a good job, they always remember that they have a good teacher that recognize them to their fullest capacity and capability.
