One kind of writ6ing that must be developed and enhanced bty teachers is Report Writing.  This kind of writing gives teachers worries on how to start and how to end this kind of report.  Writing reports cannot be avoided by teachers ,since these are requirements before and after an undertaking of an assigned tasks.

Reports come in many forms.  One can read them from magazines, newspapers, journals or in cell phones,

the internet or even in TV, or in other kinds of technology.  For teachers here are some ways to develop a report: You can write a Narration; this is narrating or telling about an event, seminars, conferences, trainings or other tasks done.  It can be in description type; this is describing the event attended.  For example, You can report the school or division BrigadaEskwela, KontrakalatsaDagat , Alay Tanim or other tasks attended.  Another way to write a report is through Classification; this is comparing different supplies, events, objects or materials delivered in your school Another way to write a report is through Evaluation.  This is for instance reporting on the quality of the Computer Units delivered in your school.  Evaluating its quality, durability, usability and other related factors for evaluation.

When writing a report remember that it gives information about a subject, don’t forget to cite the different variety of your sources, lists them for your reference.

Teacher may consider the following tips in making a report:

  1. Narrow your subject, if the report needs only evaluation of an event, then focus only on the evaluation.
  2. Prepare the information that you need about your topic.
  3. Take note about the information.
  4. Write your first draft before publishing it.
  5. Evaluate and revise your draft.
  6. If facts are not enough, interview concerned persons.
  7. List all y7our sources
  8. Make an outline of your report
  9. Lastly, evaluate and edit before publication by asking the following questions to yourself:

1          .Does my report use at least 3 different sources?

2        .  Does the report have enough information?          .

3           Is the information in the report clearly organized?

4           Does an interesting introduction give the reports’ topic?

5        Does a conclusion let the reader know that the report is over?

If all your answers to these questions are YES , then you have the right to publish or submit your report.
