Besides teacher qualifications and school facilities, another important determinant of quality of education is the teaching and learning materials.It is essential for quality materials to be made avail- able to the teachers and students in adequate quantities to support the teaching and learning processes.

                   Teaching aids include the benefit of helping learners to improve their reading comprehension skills, relieving boredom by presenting information in an exciting way. It can also help the students in stimulating other senses because there are no limits in what teaching aids can be utilized.

                   Teachers can choose what kind of teaching aid is suited in presenting their lessons. They can choose from visual aids, audio aids or audio visual aids.

                   Teaching aids can motivate students, clarify the subject matter easily, Increase the vocabulary of students and can provide direct learning to the students.
