A school leader entails outstanding characteristics that will be beneficial to the school.  In line with this, the nature of his work as a leader shows his/her character.

It is hard to be a school leader and someone who aims to be one must consider the tremendous yet challenging role of a school manager and administrator.

School leaders today are expected to perform a wide-range of academic and non-academic duties and hence the job does not merely equate on compelling curriculum, goading teachers to produce excellent results and then basking in the glory once the job is completed.

In the academic sphere, the nature of the school leader’s duties can be in the area of curriculum planning and development, areas pertaining to student development and teacher training.

                Moreover, a school leader obviously has to do with human resource management, financial management and strategic planning as well.  It is like having multifaceted management

Efficiency and effectiveness of the school leader should be enhanced and be supplemented with a management qualification as well.

In addition, the school leader will necessarily have to enjoy working with children, develop a certain grounding in social issues relevant to education and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment that throws up new challenges every day.

It is not easy to be a school leader.  It requires great knowledge and skills, high qualifications, excellent management trainings, remarkable efficiency and effectiveness, sincere love for children, full awareness on social issues and strong partnership with the environment and community.

Come on! Accept the challenge and be one of the ideal school leaders of the current generation.
