The victory of most organizations depends on the ability of individuals to build efficient and effective teams. According to Spector, 2012,” All teams are group , but not all group are teams. A group consists of people who work together but can work without one another. A team is a group of people who cannot do their jobs at least, not effectively, without the other members of their team”.There are common problems that teams encounter, one is absence of team identity, another is difficulty in making decisions, ineffective leadership or leaders can fail teams by not defining the clear vision of the team. So it is very important to any team or clubs to have a team building as well as team bonding activities annually, so that each member improve quality output and motivated to work as a team.
Young Schemers Club spearheaded School Based Leadership Program, aim to build every member of a team as a person so others will enjoy what every member can offer. The activity was held on July 14, 2018 at AVR of Bataan National High School. The speaker of the said event is Pastor Narlo N. Samblero.The topics being discussed are Proven Steps to Healthy Self Image, avoid garbage –dump thinking, Scape goat mentality-how to avoid it and No more prisoners of hope, How to Create Team Spirit. Group activity were also done to developed trust with the other member of YSC. The many benefits of team building activities first, Increase productivity, the collaborative nature of team building challenge teaches people how to work together more effectively, secondly is to improve communication. The clear and open communication is the key to success of projects and relationships within the company and keep the employees motivated or every member in the club. After the team building activity of Science club, Members and officers are able to start the Calendar of annual activity with a smile, well-motivated and be able to collaborate with the team to achieve same goal and to build harmonious relationships within the group. Effectively of the team output lies on the member of each team.
