Teachers’ Day celebrations commenced to give tribute to teachers for heartfelt efforts to impart knowledge to their learners. By celebrating Teachers’ Day, we express the message that we care for our teachers, as much as they do.

As part of the event, Cataning Elementary School celebrated World Teachers’ Day last October 5, 2021 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon via Google Meet with the theme “Teachers Leading in Crisis, Reimagining the Future” “Guro Ko, Bayani Ko, sa Kabila ng Pandemya”.

The celebration was started with a roll call by Ms. Lirio D. Evangelista; Teacher 1 followed by the singing of a Patriotic Song “Tagumpay Nating Lahat” and Prayer thru AVP. Then, a Welcome Remarks by our Faculty President; Mrs. Verona C. Bergonia, an Inspirational Messages by GPTA Officer; Mr. Sonny U. Valenzuela and Hon. Ronaldo P. Sangalang; Barangay Captain of San Jose, Balanga City.

To welcome our new Area Supervisor, Mrs. Elena V. Almario; EPS in Mother Tongue and Filipino, she was given a surprise visit by our Faculty Officers. Afterwards, she gave a short message.

The amazing principal of Cataning Elementary School, Mrs. Agnes O. Magdalera delivered her inspirational message. Then, she awarded her

Teaching Staff with Certificate of Recognition.

The SPG Officers and selected Kinder to Grade 6 pupils prepared a video clip as a commendation to our principal and teachers.

The last part of the celebration was virtual games such as Spin a Wheel and Bring Me.

Everyone had so much fun and with a big smile on their faces.

It was indeed a simple but meaningful celebration of Teachers’ Day, despite the pandemic.
