Aristotle stated that “longing for wisdom is our nature” he called it in a Latin words as “Docta Ignorancia”, In our everyday lives we are bonded to a lot of information and knowledge. We gained through interactions and studying in school. The major concern or question for this scenario is: what is our assurance that the information we gained is truth? In a field of science, truth is all about inquiry or discovery. If truth is all about inquiry or discovery, therefore we can’t conclude that one thing is truth without discovery, in a field of science the highlight of finding the truth is the “scientific method”. In order to determine the truth science introduces us the steps in finding the truth: First, we start in stating or knowing the problem. Then, we gather data and information, then we conducted observations and formulation of the hypothesis, and lastly, we testing the hypothesis and having verification of conclusions. We are all aware that truth requires basis, and those basis will come with the use of scientific method, that is why we can conclude that science subject is “the key of knowing the truth”. Most of our students are find it hard but it requires critical thinking. As a teacher of science subject we need to teach our students on how they are going to discover the truth. Every question needs answers, and these answers will make science as an essential subject. Let us make our students be part of innovation.
