It takes a community to educate a child, thus to achieve quality education , the different stakeholders must know their vital roles. It is not only the state who must ensure that there is quality, equity and relevance in the type of education that is provides to the youth but the whole community. Each one of us has a part to share and perform in realizing our battle cry for effec6tive education.

  1. The Teachers- It has always been said that you cannot give what you do not have, thus educators should continue to learn and update themselves in the field of education. Professional development means improved teaching practices that lead to effective learning. As classroom managers, we are the model for our students and we must be flexible to the needs of our learners.
  2. The Students- Effective learning cannot be achieved by just providing the best teachers in every school.  If students themselves are not interested to learn and do not value education  in their lives, the most ideal teaching approach is futile.
  3.  The Parents- Value formation starts inside the home. Parents are the best motivators for the students to go to school. Teacher-parent cooperation is the key in providing life-long learning experience for the students. Parents must also take part in improving the school facilities so that conducive to learning environment is achieved.
  4. The Government- No less than the Philippine constitution mandates  the government to set the priority for education. It is the government who must provide accessible quality education for its citizens. The needs of every school must be acted upon by the agencies of the government. Through the Special Education Fund (SEF) of every municipality, city and province can provide assistance to every school.
  5. The Non-Government Organizations (NGO’s)- Socio-civic organizations  like the Rotary club, Jaycees, Lions club and the like can be tapped as partners in improving school facilities. These NGOs are institutional partners of Brigada Eskwela implementing schools.
  6. The Business Sectors- Part of the so-called corporate social responsibility of every large business entity is to help the Philippine education. Media giant ABS-CBN have their  “ Adopt-a-Home Town School Project”. The McDonalds Food Corporation established their House of Charities to provide scholarships to poor but deserving students.
