How teachers set their goals especially during the opening of a new school year.  Here are some simple thoughts on how to effectively set the teaching goals clearly.  Always remember that a teacher must always be smarter than the students.

The goals should be:

Specific.  Define the goal clearly and be specific on what to do.

Measurable.  The teacher should have knowledge on how much to do.

Attainable.  It is always be remembered that goals need to be possible.

Result-oriented.  Do not just write it, work for it.

Time-bounded.  Time is of the essence. Have your time table set.

Energizing.  Make it active and activate all involved.

Rewarding.  Recognize those who made it possible.

Always be smarter, it is always rewarding.
