How do you cure an ailing public education system?Start from the bottom of the heap … from the pre-school to the specific.

Pre-school or Early Childhood Education (ECE) is time when the intelligence, social behavior and personality of a child are formed. Educators believed that it is best to equip him with appropriate skills necessary for a smooth transition to the big school.

Schools, whether private or public, do not have to confine their efforts within their curriculum as they lack to go out and share their expertise in ECE to help improve in teaching in barangay daycare centers across the country.

Day care teachers, on the other hand, should learn teaching techniques, materials and modules.  They should be also be taught the thematic integrated  approach where subjects like Math, Reading and Social Studies  are taught using a unifying theme so the children can easily make the connection.
