In modern time of technology, when millenial generation is attracted in different gadgets, when young people are busy in many things in their environment, teachers must POSSESS of some traits. SELFIE are the traits of effective teahers.

S-stands for Self control. Everybody knows that teaching is very difficult job. There are many things that teachers have to sacrifice. They are ready to face some problems regarding their pupils most especially that pupils now are protected by child protection policy. Showing teacher’s anger is strictly prohibited. Inspite of the fact that some pupils are really rude and unrespectful.

E- stands for Educated. Teachers are knowledgeable and skillful. In order to upgrade their knowledge and skills, the teachers are attending seminars and trainings to level up their teaching ability. Others enrol in masteral degree for their professional growth.

L- stands for Liberated and permissive.Liberated teachers are the teachers who are allowing their pupils to explore. They are permitting thier pipils to discover and develop their talents and abilities. They guide them patiently.

F- stands for Fair and equal. Teachers treat their pupils fairly and equally.

I-for Innovative and resourceful.  Teachers who are innovative and resourceful are the creative teachers. They are keen observers. They can use materials in their locality in teaching. They can depend the needs of their pupils to the availability of the resources in the community.

E- stands for  End producer. In every performance of the pupils, there is an end product. Teachers eveluate the activities performed by the pupils to know what are the strenghts and weaknesses of their pupils.

SELFIE are the traits of the effective teachers.
