It is undeniable that teacher is the most influential figure in the society.  That is the reason why the child emulates his/her word, his/her action and his/her philosophy. A teacher must consider this fact as a great advantage in developing the supreme interest of the child to embrace learning.

These are means to persuade and lead the child to be more-focused and be enthusiastic on the attainment of valuable knowledge and skills in the field of education:

Inculcate the real essence of education.  The teacher must lead the child to the reality that education will be of superlative benefit to his totality as a productive individual.  The teacher must vividly implant in one’s mind that education can create a much brighter future with much promising life direction.

Include zest or enjoyment on the process of learning.  Teachers must create a very lively learning ambiance that will capture the interest and attention of the learners.  They should make them realize that the school offers fun upon acquiring knowledge.  Savoring the good moments while studying should be the set up in the teaching-learning process.

Let the child be the center of learning.  It is the fact that the child is the primary concern of education. So, it is necessary that everything that is being done in school should be for the sake of the child.  In doing this, let the child see his/her importance and involvement in all undertakings in the class.

Give them freedom to express themselves.  One way to motivate a learner is by giving them the opportunity to express what they think and feel.  In this way, the child may be more interested in the ongoing and in the coming activities if she/he is participating.  Learning would be exciting on his part if she/he feels that he/she belongs and has the chance to share his/her insights and contributions to the success of the  group and of learning.

Show them good examples.  A child may be extremely influenced by good models.  The teacher must always wear the philosophy of “walk you talk” that is doing what you are saying.  Show the child good instances that that would intensify their eagerness to learn.

Always be of quality or of standard.  The child has critical mind to perceive if he/she is getting the best from his/her teacher.  If they see and feel that a teacher is giving education of par excellence then capturing his/her full attention would be attainable.

Have the full effort to lead the child to learn.  It is the serious responsibility of the teacher to sharpen their interest to learn. Always remember that you are doing it for his/her benefit and for the success of the educational goals.
