STREET CHILDREN

Children who dream with their eyes open, who play under the bright sun without worrying about messing up their clothes or getting sunburned, who give the sincerest smiles so easily and who play with the insects, talk with the animals and cavort in the water.             So pity to see these children who were born…

Children who dream with their eyes open, who play under the bright sun without worrying about messing up their clothes or getting sunburned, who give the sincerest smiles so easily and who play with the insects, talk with the animals and cavort in the water.

So pity to see these children who were born with no mothers to feed them, no father to love them and no families to cherish them. Children who play alone because they were shunned by their peers. Some were teased and bullied for lack of knowledge, not having enough toys, looking odd and weird. Others have to work to be able to eat. They only need lollipop and ensaymada to make them feel happy. There are kind hearted people who give alms which is the only thing they could help children in the street.

Once were been children too who also enjoyed the “little” things in life and the beauty that is in childhood. Rich and poor children live differently. Street children have their own life to struggle, they have nothing but they owned the Kingdom of God.
