Education particularly is she acquisition and use of knowledge for development, and is changeably the most vital tool today in shaping the competitiveness of nation in the global environment.

                People nowadays are more or less living in a world of stress and burnout only to live and survive and have a quality and good life. One of the qualities of good life is having a good education. Education is a joint responsibility of government and private sector. It involves the total development of the individual for the purpose of developing self and a stable, prosperous individual.

                Considering the fact that teaching is one of the important professions from the standpoint of human welfare, teachers are the most potent factor in attaining quality education. But how can quality education be attained if the individual himself / herself is affected by stress and burnout? How can quality good life be advanced of one’s lives in a world of stress where the surroundings are affected by the same problem as well? Studies reported that many of our learners are not attaining functional literacy without which learners find it too difficult to meet the challenges posed by our rapidly changing world.

                No often, job can be more challenging and equally fulfilling than the teachers’ noble calling to help the youth shape up not only academically but in all aspects for them to develop a well rounded individual. But facing the world of stress which affects a person’s life connotes physical, mental and emotional strain or tension.

                Now the advisory group convened for critical stressor for teachers. Some identified stressors are noted that the physical environment of school makes a very significant contribution as to whether or not a school is a stressful environment to work. More abstract notions of school climate or emotional environment may also be a factor creating stress or allowing for its work reduction.

                Burdensome teaching loads, poor schedules and low staff relation are some of the chief sources of dissatisfaction listed by teachers therein.
