As stated in the Division Memorandum No. 278, s. 2021, the project Student of the Month aims to recognize deserving students from the public schools in Kindergarten to Grade 10 using remote learning modalities. Further, to serve as a means to ensure continuity of learning and the holistic development of learners. It will be done monthly at the school level and quarterly in the Division level. The previous practice of recognizing Huwarang Mag-aaral “will be incorporated with the recognition of Student of the Month with added criterion for selection. This has no bearing on the academic grades of learners.

              In line with this, commendable students of Cataning Elementary School were recognized as “Student of the Month” from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

              The awarding was started by the singing of a Patriotic Song “Tagumpay Nating Lahat” followed by a Prayer thru AVP. Then, a Roll Call by Ms. Vanessa M. Bargas;Teacher I and an  Opening Remarks by Mrs. Verona C. Bergonia; Faculty President.

 Grade 2      – Tristan Colen Angel C. Sedantes

 Grade 3      – Aidyn P. Crisostomo

 Grade 4      – Brianna Kylie P. Trinidad

 Grade 5      – Pax D. Arcilla

 Grade 6      – Alliana Eunice S. Dela Cruz

            Recognizing students provides a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence.  Awards and certificates make them, and their work stands out which again inspires them and attracts other students to work harder.
