Social networking services are platforms to build social relations among people who share interests, activities, backgrounds or real-life connections. A social network service consists of a representation of each user.
As of now, it becomes larger nationwide. Many of us find it to be very useful and important because it is a great help in giving information, details and especially, it is also a way of communication.
Almost people know how to use social media. Just search for the link web, next is a simple click. Then, post, comment, share, tag, like… see? It’s very easy, right?
Additionally, all of us have the right to control the usage of these, that’s why regardless of the age of the user, everyone of us has the freedom to be praised and be happy but all of us also have to consider the consequences it may bring such as bullying, hatred and discrimination and the other consequences that are happening now when we talk about social media.
It has great effects especially on teenagers. Most of them go beyond the limits of DO’s and DON’Ts when it comes to the proper use of social networking sites. Overusing and abusing these may come up to stress, depression, trauma and sometimes, even cause of death.
We, humans are lucky enough to have these kinds of technology. We should only remember one thing, “Many things will catch our eyes but only few catch our hearts…” We should give importance to the essence of communication, treasure, explanation of the world in just a simple click.
