The clothing industry has been improving not only because of the innovations with the trends and designs nowadays but because of the creative minds of the people behind these trends, the dressmakers and tailors.

I choose to take the course Tailoring NCII because I’ve wanted to learn how to sews pants and polo barong. And saw a tailoring class under TESDA and gives me opportunity to enhance my knowledge about garments.

We draft patterns for pants and polo barong, layout the patterns, cut and then sew including yoke and welt pocket  that makes  me a little apprehensive at first because tailoring looked complicated compared to dressmaking but still I enjoyed because I know that after this class I will be able to emulate what we have done during our trainings.

So, for the incoming students who are thinking of taking this course, decide what you want to get out of the class and go learn it. After all sewing is fun and can also serve as your source of income.
