It is said that every teacher is a manager; he manages his classroom with his students, he is expected to provide strong, values-oriented and competent leadership in promoting and sustaining quality education. It is the ultimate objective of the school to improve learning outcomes. It is in the hands of our teachers to achieve this goal, with its Mission and Vision.
As expected by the community/stakeholders, classroom managers must increase students’ performance on both academic and co-curricular activities. A strong community linkages that may bring more resources which benefit our clients that provide a better learning environment. It is the commitment of every classroom manager to pursue necessary tasks in realizing the mission of the school.
It may undertake self-evaluation in formulating own desired improvement plans so as to determine the improvement of teaching-learning process. Involvement of parents and community in the learning process of students is a must because we believe that parents are our partners in molding and educating students to be a good citizen.
It is a kind of manager who is student-centered and quality focused. An ultimate aim of every educator is to improve teaching standards and learning outcomes, it is a part of education system.
As stated in Extracted from Learning to Learn – The Way in Curriculum Development Council, 2001, “A quality curriculum for the 21st century should therefore set the directions for teaching and learning through a coherent and flexible framework which can be adapted to changes and different needs of students and schools”.
That’s why classroom managers tend to attend seminars, workshops, meetings and conventions to upgrade learning, hence, they should have a good understanding of the present position and the future development of the school curriculum.
