An ideal teacher is of a good human being, kind, compassionate, understanding and forgiving-someone, who is interesting and fun loving, someone, who loves us and can make teaching interesting. It is the person who has a lot of experience and knows how to communicate with students. Also he or she must know how to guide and support them during this journey. This is critical to help students make good choices and prepare them for a good future. Teachers can make and unmake students. So the bare future of the new generations depends on the hand of the Teacher. Ideal teachers are usually projects inner beauty of personality that a great help in molding students.
An Ideal teacher should be a scholar. He must have the knowledge of the subject he teaches in the class. He should teach the subjects in an interesting way. He should be able to make the students really interested in their subject. An ideal teacher should express well, should have a good voice and must have love for teaching. The students should feel that their minds are growing under his teaching. An ideal teacher deals with the subject well. He makes his subject interesting too. Teachers must ideal in his or her teaching prowess. Teachers must be well verse in his or her expertise in their field of specialization. Student’s best performance depends on the teacher’s expertise in handling the lesson in the class. Students will develop their potentials and maximize it for total holistic development.
An ideal teacher is the one who makes his students think and enhances their creativity. He not only passes information to them but also develops love for learning. He activates the minds of his students. He teaches them how to think and grow logical power. He brings into play the hidden mental powers of students. He must be a man of ideas. He should explain things in a scholarly and interesting way. Teachers can encourage their students to maximize their hidden talents and make use of it for self-development and socialization as well.
An ideal teacher must be a man of culture. He should have a sense of duty and responsibility. He should be honest to himself, to his students and to his profession. Man making is the central function of an ideal teacher. He is an engineer of the soul. In other words, an ideal teacher is a student’s friend, philosopher and guide.
Teach from the heart….love your students with all your heart…teachers can develop the affective side of the learners. They can help students to assess their emotions and channeled it in a more positive way. Teachers must love their work. They can dedicate all of their time and energy to make lessons more exciting and fruitful even though it is hard on the part of the teachers. He believes that all sacrifices for the students is worth fulfilling as long as he or she enjoys their fruit of labor.
Teaching is considered to be a noble profession but today people opt for this profession without giving a thought to the sacrifice, commitment and dedication it needs. Few souls choose this path of profession because it connotes sacrifice and commitment without asking anything in return. Teachers are vital in creating future generation. The future of the nation depends on the hand of the lowly being as noble as teachers. In every success of a man in this world a teacher behind of it. Let’s honor the role of the teachers in our lives.
