A teacher always makes a difference, in society and in the life of every learner.  What is the reason behind it?  It is because teachers have leadership potentials.  Being a teacher leader does not necessarily mean that you have a commanding power but you must possess attributes that can be emulated by the others. In describing the leadership potentials of teacher, various traits are being derived.

Being a learner. Before a teacher instructs he/she first learned. He/she is an attentive and keen learner.  He/she is willing to acquire all the essential skills in order to enhance his/her abilities. Indeed before you become a good teacher, you must first be a good learner.

Being a visionary.  A teacher always has a vision not for himself/herself but also a vision for all.  There should be a set goal to be followed and to be achieved for the benefit of all most especially of his/her educational clientele.  It is said that a leader without vision will achieve nothing but a leader with clear vision will attain something.

Being passionate.  A teacher is a very active or dynamic agent.  He/she has the great and extreme passion to work and perform his/her tasks, duties and responsibilities.  He/she has untiring energy to work on for the betterment of the school and of the entire teaching community.

Being committed.  A teacher has evident commitment in everything he/she does.  He/she has the big heart in dedicating himself/herself to the teaching profession. He/she does not think of much time and effort being spent in school and for its people but for the services he/she renders.

Being highly engaged.  Once given the great opportunity to do things for the sake of others, a teacher will highly involve himself/herself wholeheartedly.  Actively, a teacher will go on in the execution of various tasks that will be important to others.

Being innovative.  A teacher does not stop from improving or advancing knowledge and skills in order to be more productive and fruitful on his/her teaching profession.  He continues to acquire unique and advanced competencies in order to share to his people for the advancement as well.

Being reflective.  A teacher thinks well before saying or doing things.  He/she is very careful in order to be more righteous and be a good example.

Evidently, a true teacher leader possesses attribute potentials that are exemplary.
