One of the primary concerns of a teacher is to teach our students the value of respect to human dignity which implies self –esteem and self-worth to oneself.

A teacher will be the leading and living instrument of the learner to realize the said value in order to find his/her meaning and to boost his/her morale as an individual.

We all know for a fact that the words of the teacher are very powerful and influential that is why a teacher must emanate such attitude, word or action that would execute the picture of respect for human dignity.

In the simple classroom situation, a teacher may lead the student to the said virtue if the teacher shows respect to the individuality of the learner regardless of the gender, age, religion, socio-economic status and among others.

The child may see the value being emphasized if he/she sees on the teacher that he/she respects the ideas, sentiments and choices of the child as long as these do not deviate from the norms or standards.

Let the child discovers the value of self-worth and self-confidence by means of the situations where the child can express with his/her own volition and can act out things through his/her willingness.

            It is just right that the teacher leads the child to realize, inculcate and apply respect for human dignity most especially in facing the situations in life.

            A teacher plays a very vital role in achieving respect for human dignity and that is a proven fact because a teacher always gives guidance to our dear learners.
