In preparing TEST it should be appropriate to the level of the students. We need to consider a lot of factors. Constructing test is one of the crucial roles in the teaching and learning process. Simple recall type test is applicable in natural science subjects like mathematical, chemical, and physical science where the stimulus appears in a form of a problem that requires computation.

The quality of test constructions depends largely on the classroom teacher. Every classroom teacher is interested to know how far and how deep he can facilitate, orient, and guide his students with the knowledge, ideas, abilities, skills, and attitudes that he wishes to build up in order to achieve his teaching objectives and to make his students responsive to the changing needs of the society. He is in the best position to determine the strength and weaknesses of his students, the needs of his students and the goals he want to achieve.

The two main types of objective tests are (1) recall type and (2) recognition type. Recall type is categorized into simple – recall and completion. And recognition type is categorized into (1) alternative response, (2) multiple choices, (3) matching, (4) rearrangement, (5) analogy and (6) identification.

Teacher – made tests have prove their value in the understanding of concepts, vocabulary, information, computational ability, and other learning outcomes. A teacher who wishes to be competent in designing tests should be determined the type of test best suited to achieve a definite aim and the techniques for constructing teacher-made tests may guide him to fulfill satisfactorily the measurement that he needs.

Simple Recall type is one of the easiest to construct among the objective types where the item appears as a direct question, a stimulus word or phrase, or a specific direction. The response requires the student to recall previously learned material and the answers are usually short consisting of either a word or a phrase.
