Learning is fun, fun, fun. Yes, if the following are present, coupled with a very good teacher who knows how to elicit responses from learners towards remarkable learning.

Teaching-learning materials availability

Sufficient tools, equipment or the like must be provided, or else…. the rest would just miss the chance of learning during the process. Yes, each learner must have his material/s on the ready.

Instructions are clear.

To avoid confusions among learners, directions or procedures must be clear. Say, in a test- taking activity the teacher must ensure that before the start of the test, learners must have been well-informed about the directions: encircle the letter of the correct answer, or underscore the phrase, or box the whole item, etc.

Enlightened parents

Without the full support of parents regarding the teaching style of the teacher, teaching is doomed. Whenever the teacher has a plan about this and that lesson, parents must understand the reasons behind, etc. in order to avoid frictions between the teacher and parents.

Supportive head teacher or principal

Effective communication is paramount here. Without which, a teacher could be misunderstood by his superior regarding his programs, styles, and strategies and so on. This could bring about friction between them and the teacher, feeling misunderstood or what, would not accomplish much in his teaching.

Inspired learners

 

With a good teacher, learners would definitely learners more positively than with unmotivated one. Yes, jolly teachers is more effective that someone who is not. Make sure a teacher is one happy and creative purveyor of learning.

Collaborative learning present

Group work, study group, and so on must be utilized inside and out of the classroom. Project-making must be included in the curriculum wherein 5 or so learners are tasked to accomplish something out of their lesson/s. Yes, with this strategy, learners are not only experiencing learning collaboratively, but also meaningfully.

Recognized performer

To answer the learner’s need for recognition, the teacher must have a system of recognizing best work. Efforts spent by learners must also be appreciated, though; their work is not that remarkable against used standard.

Well, with teacher’s desire to effect learning to his learners, every challenge that comes his way is treasured as opportunity.
