Teachers attributes mainly to the growth and learning process of the students. The teacher’s knowledge of content and ho to teach effectively, his teaching practice immensely affect the learning process of students. Teacher continues searching new to teaching process to keep abreast with the development that concern education. Teachers therefore are learners as they continue to influence effective teaching.

            Today we see teachers as facilitators of the learning process and directors of learning conditions and environment for learning. Students must be equipped with skills on how to learn. Teachers should provide an extra ordinary effort in order to get into the lives of the students. It is indeed that to be equipped with technology advancement materials while teaching such as the use of multi-media and other new media that will facilitate teaching and enhance learning as well.

            But then can we still consider the qualities of a teacher to be considered as effective one. These include the teacher’s traits, behavior, disposition and ideals. A competent classroom teacher should only expert in lessons he is teaching but he should expert in different techniques that will make his lesson interesting to learners. Let us see teacher’s qualities to be an effective one; teachers a person who care, fair and manifest respect with students, who can motivate and a dedicated one. Teacher skills as a classroom manager, who organizes discipline pupils, who knows different teaching strategies, knows his subject matter and can relay this clearly to students.

Department of Education (DepEd) is looking forward for more effective teachers who will mold the future generation.
