              In a classroom setting, it is common to have a 1:50 (teacher-student) specially in a public school. Every learner is unique and have got a unique personality. Diversity is understanding one’s culture, personal background, experiences and perspective. But with a proper number of resources and strategies of a teacher it is easy for learners to engage in discussion and respect their differences (of their classmates). Teaching is the most challenging, effortful, demanding, and tough occupation. Therefore, educator holds a peculiar position in the society.

            Multiple Intelligences of Diverse Students

             There are multiple intelligences that the students might have, first is the linguistic wherein the pupil may be good in writing, reading, speaking and listening. Second, is logical-mathematical it is when the student is bright in thinking critically, reasoning, experimental, and quantifying. Third, intelligence in Visual-Spatial, visual means seeing, it can be in drawing, coloring, visualizing things, and mapping. Next is, bodily-kinesthetic, these are the students that is good in sports, most engage in physical activities. Other one, musical intelligence in here the students were skilled and can excel in music, singing, and in playing instruments. Interpersonal and intrapersonal are other types of multiple intelligences. Interpersonal are what we so called “extrovert” they opt to share, teach, interact and collaborate while intrapersonal are those “introvert” they enjoy their own company by connecting to own self, these are individuals that are good in making authentic decisions and choices also in reflecting most of the time. Lastly, naturalist it is a kind of multiple intelligence that the student might have through learning experiences, connecting to living things, care for others and explore more on this world that has more to offer.

Does the class size affect the effectiveness of a teacher?

             Class size is a major factor in a classroom setting during the interaction between the learners/students and the teacher, therefore it has an impact in student learning. But it is debatable if the class size really affects the effectiveness of a teacher. Having a unique strategies and techniques by the teacher it is the key and a great help to engage the diverse students based on the needs of their multiple intelligences. Teacher is the best instructional material and teacher is primary in educational wheel.

According to research, it is needed to understand the full effect of class size, it shows that younger students, at-risk students, and special-needs students receive greater benefit from small classes than other populations. Being a teacher is the noblest profession of all, on the other side, it is the most crucial profession yet satisfying and fulfilling.
