A teacher’s life is not only confined in the classroom. He or she continuously moves to all the areas in school and even in the community to show active involvement in worthwhile undertakings.

            Teaching in the four corners of the classroom is not only his/her life but instead, a teacher must reach out to other people and share them one’s talent and ability and lead them to their development and productivity.

            It is expected from a teacher that he or she spends time in collaborating with other people his/her ideas and strengths in order to achieve a common goal. It is a heroic thing for a teacher to believe in oneself and to make a change in other’s life and that is for the better.

            Being involved in programs, projects and activities of the school that promote the welfare and well-being of the educational clientele is much rewarding. Moreo this will show that the teacher is well-versed and flexible in a lot of things that make him/her worthy of much respect and admiration.

            A teacher must be seen in the community as well. Having been exposed to a various community activities is a good indication that the teacher is an active member of the school community. It may be a clean-up drive, tree planting, anti-smoking campaign, waste management and among others are the possible valuable projects a teacher may deal with.

            In addition, he/she can serve as a speaker or adviser in various conferences or gathering where the wit and wisdom of a teacher would be required.

            Precisely, a teacher must learn to go out in the school community.
