Teachers have the noblest tasks among all professionals. Modest aside, teachers are the most talented ones. And this would more worthy if teachers take the individual differences of their pupils more seriously and nurture their minds well. This would make them proud of what they are and what they love.
With the time and efforts teachers exert everyday in performing their noblest task: they can make a big difference to their students.
More so, according to Dr. Howard Gardener, a well renowned cognitive psychologist, every individual has intelligences that can be minimized in the learning process through teaching.
Most teachers are knowledgeable of these intelligences: linguistic, mathematics, spatial, bodily, kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal and nationalist.
Teachers ought to know these to be able to deal with their children effectively regardless of having 50-60 children in the classroom.
However, sad to say, because of too many responsibilities of teachers plus the pressures of carpet supervisions and observations and personal problems, teachers tend to forget their most important role… to mold their pupils’ potential to the fullest or even discover their hidden talent.
Such being the case, the teachers are still the ones considered as the most important factor in the children’s learning.
