What are the different tasks, duties and obligations of the teachers? How do they influence people in the community? These are the two questions that most of the teachers asked? We all know that teachers have very hard and serious obligations when it comes to education. They are the one who have the capacity to impart knowledge and factual information that everyone can use and apply in their everyday lives. They prepared lesson plans, visual aids and other learning materials that can use in every day lessons for the young to learn.
But there are some situations that the teachers not only act as mentors or tutors they also act as actors and actresses who portrays different roles. Most of the roles the teacher being played are being a Mother and Friend. We considered and called the school as a second home of the students teachers also called a second mother of the students. A mother who is doing not only a classroom tasks but also doing different duties such as disciplining, imparting and teaching them values , guiding and assisting them to be better and productive individuals.
It is very hard to do those duties but if the teachers have fashion and dedication on her works, he/she can influence the young generation very easily. As a teacher they should love their work not only for the salary but also for the willingness to share the talents, skills and knowledge that our God also gave us. Let them feel and realize that they are loved and accepted. Though with our hands, the youth are able to explore and develop physically, mentally, spiritually, socially and morally.
Even though they have generation gaps but still a teacher can be friends of them, but of course in a way that they still know their limitations, responsibilities and duties as students. A simple advice means a lot for them. They will feel that they are not alone and there are some people who are very much willing to listen and give advice every time they encounter troubles, trials and bitterness. Always believe that the teachers are not only good in preparing daily lessons but of course they are also good in dealing different people with different attitudes. They can serve as good role models. They can also make and establish good relationships not only for the students and co-workers but also in the community.
