School is the institution that helps the individuals to learn and discover things. It also develops the different aspects of man’s life such as intellectual, mental, emotional, spiritual and moral. These aspects can be improved and enriched with the help of particular people and these are the teachers and the parents. Part of the school is the GPTA where teachers and parents are involved. This association aims to give and provide quality education for youths. The people behind this should work together so they can easily achieve their common goals in education.
Today’s generation is very different than before. Students become more active, violent, and aggressive. They do their wants even though their studies are affected. They did not act properly in school. There are some students who have behavioral problem. Sometimes every day’s lesson became miserable. Teachers have more time to take sermons to the students instead of discussing lessons. This is so stressful in part of them. Their patience controls them to do the right thing in disciplining the learners.
Even at home there are some students who act the same way. Their parents have hard time also to discipline them. There are some parents who pass and depend their obligations to teachers. They don’t really care about the duties and responsibilities of teachers in school. For them they send their children in school to learn and discipline accordingly. They do not consider the other factors that can influence and affect to their child’s interest in school. They don’t have time to monitor their child even at home.
One thing that teachers and parents should do based with the following situations and conditions of youths is they should have coordination and collaboration so they can easily achieve their goals. They should also have proper communication so they understand them and they can provide interventions and innovations that help the youths to be productive and competitive individuals worldwide. They are the great partners in achieving quality education.
