“The youth are the hope of the fatherland”, as always mentioned by Jose Rizal. If this is so, and if we believe on it we, teachers are the one responsible to prepare these youth for duties of government that will soon be theirs. We must provide them adequate tools that will make them better and more effectively equipped to govern; and let him who is best-qualified lead. Let the leaders and those who are led realize that an orderly society is a prerequisite to progress and that not all can lead at the same time.

As the history reveals, that there is no leader without those who are led. The evolution of the leader can only come about when those who are led concede the necessity for the existence of a leader and having done so; choose the individual who possesses the qualities which in their estimation are required for leadership. However, not one has ever been entrusted with such responsibility without having prepared himself for it. This is the time were teachers play a vital role!

This is supported by Francisco (1995), in which according to him, Teachers: as the molders of the youth; the hope of the beloved  fatherland, and they, youth, as heirs of this land where their forefathers are buried, as they will be the trustees of the soil for their successors as we, their elders are trustees now for them, as they are the inheritors of the present leaders, as the shapers of the future leaders of this nation, then prepare the pupils in the best way we can.

For the responsibility that will be theirs very soon is awesome and mistakes in government will be a luxury they can poorly afford. Therefore, plan for their future and when the future comes, they will find their tasks not to be difficult either to be lead or to be led by their chosen leaders.

Finally, future leaders of this nation, which are the youth, will surely become the great leader of the great nation. This will possibly happen because teachers prepare them whole-heartedly and guide them to the path of truth with fear to Almighty God, which is the greatest leader of this world.
