Every day, technology evolves at a far faster rate than earlier generations. To give learners a more efficient and dynamic learning experience, modern education and classrooms necessitate the adoption of innovative teaching and learning practices. In view of this, Dr. Roderick A. Tadeo, School Head of Olongapo City National High School, implements Project MILIEU, or Monitoring Instructional Landscape towards Inclusive Environment Under the New Normal, where the school has established a method to ensure a child-friendly classroom. Aside from being recognized as Model Classrooms, Smart Televisions were given to four Model Classrooms which they can use to facilitate teaching and learning.
Smart Televisions were intended to help learners engage even in the absence of teachers as well as improve the quality of instruction in schools. Television accommodates diverse learning styles, it has been observed that children learn more quickly than the traditional method of employing a board, chart papers, and pens. It may also lower the cost of material resources and time spent on providing quality education. Classroom televisions add spice to the teaching and learning process making it more engaging and resourceful.
