You may have read these lines written by Henry Sy, a business tycoon, “ Success is notjust good work. It is a combination of hard work, good credit standing,opportunity, readiness and timing. When the opportunity comes, you have to be ready and embrace it. Otherwise, it goes to somebody else. Also success will not last if you do not take care of it.”
Teachers are aware of the ranking for promotion being done in the Department of Education Division of Bataan Office when vacancies arise. This is one way not only to have salary increase but also to raise the present position. However, teacher must put in mind that the realsuccess can be measured if he has truly kindled the minds of the youth.
On the other hand teachers deserve also to be successful in the true sense of the word. This is a reality. The desire is found not only among teachers but this is true and can be found in all levels of life. You may hear everyone say that they want to be successful. Particularly for teachers, if they want to succeed, they have to work for it. Success is doing not wishful thinking. When one merely wish without combining it with hard work and extra effort, failure will result.
Action produces results, and results in success. Don’t give excuses for failures. They are signs that you lack preparation, and also it is a sign of weakness. A teacher who will probably succeed is one who gets involve in the planning, goal-setting of the school head for the sake of the school and the learners.. A teacher who will succeed is one who is good in human relationships, in communicating process, easily motivated and one who can be depended upon in school matters when the needs arise.
A teacher who is aiming to be promoted from Teacher I to any higher position always exude good a1ttitude towards the children. She is caring, always prepared in his/her lessons. Loves more the unlovable, and reach the unreachable students. In addition he/she must strive hard on his/her craft. Why be a mediocare, when you can be excellent. This will greatly help you in aiming for success, Do your best and excel in it. Develop initiative. Avoid indifference4.
If you still can add to these already mentioned, then you will be a sure winner in your field of endeavor.
