Teaching is considered as the most rewarding profession.  Teachers have a lot of wonderful experiences during their interactions with learners, parents and with other members of the school community.

During the teaching-learning process, the teachers painstakingly exhibit humane efforts in order to serve the learners, making them read, write, compute, analyze, role play, inquire, criticize, discuss, collaborate and express their ideas and feelings.

The experience of educating the youth and communicating with them is a rewarding experience since you can see that they are developing, improving, progressing and gaining greater heights.

Realistically, teachers find reward and gratification on the efforts exerted if there are developments and progress among the learners. What teachers are after for is that the learners are responding and participating on theirmotivations and encouragements during the time of teaching.

If you see that the pupils learned, then that is a proof that the teaching-learning process has become effective. Obviously, the fact that the pupils learned is already a reward and you will have an overwhelming feeling.

In the future, these schoolchildren that you taught will return to you and will narrate their stories of success due to the knowledge and skills you implanted on them.  In this regard, gratitude coming from them would mean so much and you will tell to yourself that teaching them is for a good cause.

Moreover, the people in the school community particularly parents will eventually show appreciation to the hard work and labor accomplished by the teacher in the education of the child.

The high reverence and admiration from the parents would be overflowing for they will demonstrate their gratefulness for the love and care you showered on their children during their time in school.

These notions are true and they describe the immaterial benefits derived from teaching. Truly, teaching is a rewarding and a gratifying experience. Be proud of it!
