Teaching is not an easy job. It is a demanding job. We come early to school, we handle a number of pupils, we prepare many reports, we talk the whole day, and the list goes on. For others, being a teacher is not advisable for their family members to take for it is stressful. But for some who look at the positive view of life, teaching is their vocation.
Vocation comes from the Latin word “vocare” which means to call. If there is a call, there must be a caller and one who is called. There must also be a response. For Christians, the Caller is God Himself.
Many of us, (especially those who are dedicated) believe that they are here because of the call to teach. Their stay signifies that they have positively responded to the call. They believe that God wanted them to light others’ path.
When you are a teacher both in mind and in your heart, there is an assurance that you perform well. You contribute to the organization’s success. More importantly, if for you, teaching is a vocation, you know the right trail on your duties simply because, God is in your heart and you adhere to His call.
