Biological science is not so much given emphasis by other for its numerous lectures and information which they think are hard to absorb. But for the teacher teaching biological science is enjoyable by contemplating on the following ways:
- Present ideas in innovative ways. Biological science could have a new flavor if presented in innovative way. The chalk and board discussion is no longer the trend instead presenting the lesson in a more dynamic and interactive way is relevant and applicable. Let the students move and discover ideas will be a better alternative. Let them be critical and logical in their discoveries.
- Utilize computer technology in teaching. Using computer technology is better and ideal in the present time. Present the class discussion through the multimedia system brought by computer technology. In this way, they will be able to learn and at the same time enjoy.
- Include collaborative teaching. The trend at present is to have group activities for the students share what they have in their minds. Then they collaborate their ideas and come up with a common concept during group presentations.
- Instil the love for the subject. The teacher should motivate the students to have love and passion in studying the subject. The teacher should lead the students to the essence of biological science to all of us for them to enjoy it.
- Give them the opportunity to grow. The teacher is not the only one performing in the classroom. He/she should give the students the chances to move and grow. Expressing what they have in mind for the subject is very essential in order to let them clarify vague ideas and discover their vividness.
- Let them go beyond the classroom. Learning is more fun and enjoyable if you lead the students to go out from the four corners of the classroom. Find time to bring the students outside the classroom. The school surrounding is a perfect place to observe for anywhere here you can find life.
