Amidst the current occurrences of undesirable behaviors from among the youth of the contemporary time lies the big responsibility bestowed on every teacher. That is the stressing of the right values to our dear students or pupils. The following are among them:
1. RESPECT. Respect is the first thing that we have to teach to the learners. Respect God, the elders, the parents, the teachers, their fellowmen and everything in their environment.
2. LOVE. Love God above all. Then love your neighbors as you love yourself. Love your parents, brothers, sisters, fellowmen and all the things made by God.
3. HONESTY/INTEGRITY. Be honest in everything you do whether at home or in the outside world. Be honest in your undertakings and dealings.
4. PATIENCE. The youth must be taught on how to be patient. They lack this because they get things instantly. They should learn to wait patiently.
5. HARDWORK. Teach the learners to be industrious. Let them exert more efforts using their mental and physical efforts in order to accomplish a task.
6. PERSEVERANCE. Let the youth be more persevering. Encourage them to do their utmost best in everything they do and be more determined.
7. COOPERATIVE. They should learn to cooperate with their community in achieving common goals for the benefit of the people.
8. UNDERSTANDING. The young generation must learn to understand the nature of others. They have to accept the strengths and weaknesses of others.
9. DILIGENCE. They should learn how to focus in their jobs. They should be attentive to listen and learn in order to attain a task.
10. COMPASSION. They must learn how to show concern for others most especially to
those who need help. Be a shoulder to lean on.
