Are you familiar with the song? I still remember it clearly the song to us by our grade school teacher but she changes some lyrics of the song ,maybe to motivate us or just to know what we want when we grow up.In my mind I always answer ,when I grow up I still want to be a teacher because I idolize my teacher so much and I want to be like her.
As years passed by my eagerness of becoming a teacher did not change and so I teacher, I become. In my early years as a teacher,I’m very idealistic, for me teaching is not only a prefession but my vocation.
Educating and enhancing students knowledge a capability was my number one priority. All I think about was to inpart my knowledge to my students. All I want was to teach ,work and communicate with my students.
Living my life as a teacher gives me self fulfillment, seing my students come and go taking with them my legacy. But time change,as the silver lines from my hair appears together with my golden years. New teachers come with new styles and strategies of teaching. New goals, new commitments with a consistent advancement toward a better quality of education.
Educating students is a difficult process which requires hardwork, patience and commitments.Teaching is not a solitary task it demands understanding and caring for students.Alone, we teachers are useless helpless, but together we are strong and effective.
Would you like to be a teacher? Teaching is the most important to all prefession but a vocation
